Programme 3: Global Young Leaders is a 2-week course suitable for aspiring students aged between 13 and 16 who are equipped with a B1-C1 English level. The course offers 22 hours of tuition per week at Winchester College. Founded in 1382 and located in the beautiful city of Winchester in South England, Winchester College is one of the UK's leading independent schools with a reputation for academic excellence.

COURSE INFORMATION

 

  • Students will take the following 4 subjects to develop skill sets and leadership skills
    • Young Entrepreneur
    • Presentation Skills
    • STEM
    • English to train their debating, analytical and presentation skills

 

  • Students will be coached to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and learn the important steps to become a confident young leader 

 

  • They will learn how to make an engaging, inspiring and convincing presentation in front of audiences 

 

  • They will participate in a wide range of daily activities, from sports, art & design, to dance & movement; as well as exciting evening activities such as leadership challenges, mystery nights, talent shows, quiz nights, and in-house relaxing game nights 

 

  • Students will join excursions to Bristol, London, Oxford, Thorpe Park, and the seaside

 

 

PROGRAMME 3: GLOBAL YOUNG LEADERS INCLUDES

 

  • All tuition and teaching materials are included in the programme
  • Students will be given a welcome pack that includes a student folder, a class photo and a reusable water bottle 
  • Students will receive a progress report and a course completion certificate
  • Students will reside on Winchester College's Hall of Residence.  All meals and laundry services will be included
  • Participants will interact with resident English student hosts 
  • All transportation and admission fees during the excursions are included in the programme 
  • A resident staff member will be on duty during the trip 
  • Medical and travel Insurance will be arranged for all participants
  • Airport transfer (return) can be arranged at an additional cost, on published arrival/departure days for flights scheduled to arrive/depart between 09.00-16.00 from and to Heathrow Airport or Gatwick Airport
