The Meaning of the Compass and Torch of BEARING Academy
The compass points in four directions: North, South, East and West, harkening back to sailors and ships traversing the stormy seas on their way home from a long journey. The compass holds meaning for a traveler, being a symbol for guidance, the ability to point you in the right direction.
The torches represent the ability for each of us to serve as a guiding light for others, and for the ability of education to serve as a beacon of light, eradicating ignorance.
With the compass and the torch, it represents BEARING Academy, with the guiding light of education pointing those who come to us to the right direction.
