Programme 5: Oxbridge Academic is structured as a two-week programme specifically for students aged from 16 to 24 who have a strong proficiency in both written and spoken English. The programme offers a selection of 30 courses and is hosted at either the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford, allowing students to experience the Oxbridge learning environment and tutorial style.

Expert tutors guide students in self-directed learning and critical thinking through small-group interactive seminars, usually comprising no more than 8 participants. All participants are guided by tutors in one-to-one or two-to-one tutorials to complete 2 independent coursework assignments, with options for essays or problem sheets.

In their leisure time, participants will enjoy city tours in Oxford or Cambridge, hosted by summer school staff. They will also be invited to a series of activities, excursions, and group exploration to discover the traditional Oxbridge culture.

PROGRAMME 5: OXBRIDGE ACADEMIC INCLUDES

 

  • Students will reside on the campus of either the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford.  Breakfast is included
  • The programme includes all classes, tutorials  (both one-on-one or two-on-one), small group seminars and skills development workshops
  • Evening meals, including dining out, are included 
  • Students will be invited to participate in a formal ball on a Friday, which includes a three-course dinner 
  • A graduation ceremony will be held upon course completion 
  • All planned visits and excursions are included in the programme
  • Airport transfer can be arranged at an additional cost
  • Travel and medical insurance will be arranged for all participants
  • Students will receive a welcome pack consisting of a backpack, a notebook, and a water bottle
