Biography

Rodger Sadler is a senior Technology, Business, and Intellectual Property lawyer, admitted to the bar in both the U.S. (New York) and Canada (Ontario).

Rodger studied law at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada (with an exchange semester at Northwestern Law School in Chicago). Rodger has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Physics from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and a graduate degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky.

Rodger honed his legal expertise during thirteen years at the Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe law firm in New York, where he was a partner.

Rodger also has extensive and international in-house legal experience at technology and financial services companies like Canon, BMO Financial Group (Bank of Montreal), and Mastercard.

In addition, Rodger is a co-founder and member of the Advisory Board of the LOT Network, an innovation-focused startup he co-founded with colleagues from Google. The LOT Network is growing globally and currently has more than 1000 members, ranging from:

  1. from fast-growing startups like Lyft, Pandora, Slack, and Square;
  2. to global technology, e-commerce, financial services, and AI giants like Amazon, Alibaba, American Express, Facebook, JD.com, Microsoft, Shopify, TD Bank, Tencent, Tesla, Twitter, Uber, and Visa.
