BIOGRAPHY Daniel has an extensive background in Business with specific experience in Corporate Finance, Business Analytics, Data Visualization and Financial Modelling. He has chiefly worked in Academia with various stints in consulting and advisory in Emerging Markets in Asia and Africa for consulting firms based in Europe and the UK. He has also participated in funded research visits on Climate and Sustainable Finance in Germany and Romania. He is currently researching Financial Modelling, Financial Econometrics and Financial Modelling.
Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He also holds a Masters of Science in Financial Economics. And a Bachelor in the same field. He is currently a lecturer in Economics and Econometrics at the London School of Economics and University of London (UK). He has also been an associate researcher at the University of the Witwatersrand. He is also a Charted Accountant and Chartered Secretary.
Besides research work and financial analysis, Daniel is a cycling enthusiast, an avid mountain hiker and a green environment promoter. He is loves exploring ways in which firms can balance between their goals and protecting our fragile environment. He lives by the mantra that discomfort and challenges bring out our potential and capabilities. His favorite quote is; “ships are safe in harbors, but that’s not what they are made for”. |
